CET use an online (HR-CSAS structured) tool to obtain a client's current functional, process and data requirements. The HR-CSAS tool follows a standard structure and applications, such as the HCM Mashup Builder on the Force.com platform, follow a different menu driven design largely determined by object tabs and custom navigation buttons. The same would apply to any product chosen on any platform.
CET provide services and do not sell component products. In most instances CET would help clients negotiate price with component suppliers. However, if clients choose a Force.com platform CET will install HCM Mashup Builder components from HR Cloud Solutions FREE.
For more information about component selection and assembly see the blog page
MAPPING NOMINATED CLIENT COMPONENTS TO THE APLICATION MENU
CET map the client's chosen component requirements to the chosen platform product application framework menu. CET or client can download components, set up security profiles, build custom rules, train users/custom developers, and build the menu structure. CET can help if in-house resources are not available. The screen shot below illustrates how the HR-CSAS structure used during the client specification exercise is then translated into the HCM Mashup Builder (or chosen framework product) menu layout.
MAPPING NOMINATED CLIENT DATA TO THE APLICATION SCREEN LAYOUT
The output from the data specification exercise is a list of data elements (within objects identified earlier) to be included in the client's application. Data (fields) are then dragged on or off the screen layout. Fields can be dragged back on later, if needed: Fields are not lost - they are just not visible to the user.
CODING BUSINESS RULES
This process used to be a step in the drawn out configuration phase of system implementation. It can now be done as part of the specification phase. In some cases business rules, or data validation logic, will be suplied as pre-written code. If not, code can be copied and pasted from the CET Code Store, as shown in the diagram below.
Clients can go to the Code Store any time and copy and paste new code if the situation demands a change.
